Hi
We have a question regarding App Id and Scopes
Our Database ID – vonage.vonage – App id – 7635bb09
We have 3 environments – Development, QA, Production. Can we have different App IDs for each environment? What are the possible values for Scopes while creating the Applications.

We generally don’t have anything like this set up. Typically if it is a large enough integration and a partnership is involved we can sometimes set up different test sites and servers where the Api Id and Api key are not needed. As far as that Api Key and AppId is concerned those are essentially production but they are generally supplied by each client to the developer as each client needs either the Free API or Paid API access and will have their own keys/Id’s to share at that point.

Thanks, Appreciate the quick response.

So, these API keys/AppID are actually created by the PCRecruiter customer and provided to the Integration.

If we want to create an Integration to be able to integrate with Multiple PCRecruiter Customers, Does the APPId/App Secret vary for each PCRecruiter customer?

What are the different values for “Scopes” that will be granted for the Application?

Yes, each customer will have control over their APIKey and AppId values in this case. When you say Scopes are you referring to the ability to do something against a record type? For example: Create a candidate.

If so these scopes are currently defined be the security on the supplied username and password which is used to log in.
