Autoresponder not triggering for new API candidates

Hello!
Trying to get some insight into whether or not new candidates created from the api will trigger the Candidate Web Setup→Auto Respond Email.

For example the following address was not sent an email after creation:
odbc.reactionsearch
Identification: frP9M1YmWLNt

Is there some sort of workflow customization this client must complete for that to function as desired?

Hello, I don’t believe it’s possible to trigger the auto response email via the API, you’ll probably need to generate and send your own email but let me double check with our developers.

Sorry for the delay, there’s no way to do this via the API. However, if you create an automation plan you can have that trigger the email sends.
