Hello,

I am trying to automate the download of resumes. My script goes to each record , clicks on last name . Once this is done, it clicks on the resume icon in lower frame of webpage , clicks on download icon and resume gets downloaded in doc format. Once this is done for 20 candidates in each page ,it moves onto next page.

The issue is at some point , the application hangs and there is no way for my script to click somewhere and continue with my script. The only way I see is to click refresh button but on doing this , the application goes back to login page.
Is there some way that you tweak the application so that on refreshing it stays in the same page where application crashed?

Currently if you refresh the browser that is the behavior in the program. We don’t have any way to change this.

The REST API has access to pull resumes. What are you attempting to do with the resumes?

The rest API allows to pull resumes only if we provide the candidate ID. We are using the resumes for internal data analysis.
It would be great if you could help us with this issue.

This is just a forum to help with API issues and questions. I cannot help with a script that clicks through the program.

If you have any questions about API requests please post them here.

Hello. We are new to PCRecruiter and are trying to automate the download of resumes and attachments in bulk. Would you be willing to provide some guidance?

We actually have a way to do this for the entire database for $125 simply contact support@mainsequence.net and ask to have attachments and resumes exported as a data return. You’ll need to have the contract signer fill out a form. If you wanted more information on how to do it yourself via the API I can elaborate but it’s somewhat complicated.
