Can the REST API be used for clients that are using a self hosted version of PCR? Or do they have to be on the Main Sequence hosted version? Thanks!

It can be used but they will likely need to supply the URLs to access it. Also, if they are self hosted they are likely running a much older version of the REST API if they are on PCR8. If they have been installed with PCR9 they should have a much more recent version.

This is for MRI/The Richmond Group. Per our notes, they are using a self hosted version of 8.6.

If that is the case they likely have an older version of the REST API and may or may not have the API resources you need available.

Hello Wayne,
Yuriy with LinkMatch here.

I just want to clarify one thing if you don’t mind, regarding the self hosted cases.

If the ordinary API endpoint looks like this:
https://www2.pcrecruiter.net/rest/api/candidates

Then the self hosted case should be like this:
{customer url}/rest/api/candidates

Did I get it right?

Thanks

Hello Yuriy. What you have posted appears to be correct. The customer should be able to verify where they have PCR installed.
